Welcome to Urdu Education Board

 Urdu Education Board, Delhi has been established by an
 Act XXI of 1860 of Govt. of India   (Societies Registration
 Act). It is a Minority Educational Institution formed under
 Article 29 & 30 of Constitution of India for promoting Urdu
 education across the  country.   The prime objective of the
 Board is to extend help and  support to the students of the
 Muslim Minority community and     the weaker section of the
 society with the especial      emphasis on girls education.
 Urdu    Education     Board is anautonomous body   which is
 established   for      development of   education under the
 guidelines    of  National    Education    Policy 1986, and
 Programme   of   Action    1992,  Government of India. Urdu
 Education  Board is    also      recognized by Govt. of NCT 
 of Delhi.

 The          board also fulfills the aims of vocational and
 educational right of Indian constitution 1950 under Article
 14, 15, 19 (1), 21, 26, 29, 30, 45 and 46.

 Scholarships

 Urdu   Education    Board    is   committed to provide
 scholarships and financial assistance to deserving and 
 economically weaker students.

 The Board  will  sponsor  top three rank holders of Senior
 Secondary students every year in order to facilitate their
 higher education.
